Physical Chemistry Virtual Lab

The objectives of the Physical Chemistry Virtual Labs are to:
  • Reinforce theoretical knowledge by simulating core experiments aligned with the physical chemistry curriculum.
  • Promote conceptual understanding of key principles such as thermodynamics, colligative properties, electrochemical potential, and fluid dynamics.
  • Enable application of laws and equations, including Beer-Lambert’s law, Poiseuille’s law, the Mark-Houwink equation, and thermodynamic relationships.
  • Develop students’ analytical and problem-solving skills through data collection, analysis, and interpretation of experimental results in a virtual environment.
  • Encourage independent exploration of chemical behavior without the constraints of time, cost, or laboratory hazards.
  • Facilitate preparation and reinforcement for physical chemistry laboratory courses by providing repeatable, self-paced practice.
